CAN YOU TELL US YOUR REAL NAME?

My names are Boboye Emmanuel Bodunde

AGE?

22years

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND FAMILY?

I am from a family of five and I’m the last born,and more so I studied computer science at AAUA

WHERE DO YOU HAIL FROM?

I’m from Ondo State,But precisely Ifedore local government area

HOW FUN AND HARD WAS GROWING UP?

It was fun growing up cos I grew up with families

WHAT INSPIRED YOU INTO DOING MUSIC?

I never choosed music,music choosed me although I listened to more of tuface,Orlando owoh,king sunny ade and some foreign artists too so with that I gradually buildup myself

WHEN DID YOU START MUSIC OFFICIALLY?

I started music officially 3years ago when I dropped a song titled nghelu

TELL US CERTAIN DIFFICULTIES YOU FACED AS AN UPCOMING ARTIST

Everybody knows that music is very challenging and it requires a lot of effort and money to make yourself known and also I had a problem of getting a record label to sign me but I thank God for now cos it’s all shinning under Lams Records

SO, YOU ARE SIGNED TO LAMS RECORDS AT THE MOMENT, HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?

There’s nothing much about Lams Records cos it is owned by my brother that has been helping me from the start so it’s a family record label if I would say

TELL US ABOUT YOUR HIT SONG “SISI EKO” WHAT INSPIRED IT?

Sisi Eko is like a freestyle cos the beat inspired the song

HOW WELL DO YOU THINK THE SONG IS DOING RIGHT NOW?

Sisi Eko is getting a massive air play at the moment both on television stations and radio stations even in clubs so God bless all the djs and the presenters for supporting me as a brand,I really appreciate all your effort

DO YOU HAVE SONGS YOU’VE RELEASED BEFORE AND AFTER SISI EKO?

Yes,I have released some couple of songs like nghelu and overload before Sisi Eko

ANY PLANS ON REMIXING THE SONG WITH AN A-LIST?

I’m working on the remix at the moment and it will be out soon

WHEN SHOULD WE EXPECT YOUR ALBUM?

I don’t have any plan of dropping album for now but I will be dropping singles and videos back to back and I’m sure when the Time comes for my album to drop,everybody will know

SO TELL US WHAT BROUGHT ABOUT THE STAGE NAME: “SUBZILLA”?

Although initially I was called Zilla but due to the way my friends used to hail me back then like “what’s up Zilla or Sup Zilla” and it sounds cool so I accepted the tag SUP but I changed it to SUB on my songs to make it SUBZILLA coz it’s sounds cool to me than SUP

ANY “SISI EKO” IN YOUR LIFE AT THE MOMENT?

HOW HAS YOUR LIFE CHANGED SINCE COMING TO SPOTLIGHT?

I don’t have much to say on that cos God has really been good to me and I bless him

I look up to tuface and Don jazzy

HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR DAY?

I’m always in the studio tho but if am not in the studio working then I will be chilling with my hommies

I will be dropping new singles and videos

AWARD NOMINATIONS?

None at the moment but I believe as long as I keep the good music coming,lots of awards awaits me this year by the special grace of God

WHICH EVENT IS THE BIGGEST YOU’VE PERFORMED AT AND HOW WAS THE EXPERIENCE?

Lagos count down and to my greatest surprise,the turn up was massive and unexpected ,but I was very happy .
