Krysten-vs-Burnaboy2-770x470
Host of #TheKrystnEnemShow on Africa Magic Urban, Krysten Enem fire
down heavily on popular dancehall singer, Burnaboy for making a fool of
her in a bid to feature him on her TV show scheduled yesterday.
image

Krysten
has this to say: “So many reasons why many Nigerian artists don’t last
more that 2 years or a few hits? Their poor personalities and horrible
attitude. My manager contacted this artist 10 days ago. We spoke to his
manager who happens to be his mum, asked for an interview.

My manager contacted this artist 10 days ago. We spoke to his manager
who happens to be his mum, asked for an interview. This was 10 days ago
or thereabout. The lady asked us to send an official email which we did
right away with all details.
The interview was for #TheKrystnEnemShow on Africa Magic Urban. Yes, I
was excited to interview the artist coz he’s quite talented. They said
they will get back to us and it took another few days and we got email
back of ‘we’ll confirm with so and so person. We waited.
Well, when there wasn’t any confirmation, I told my team to chill out
and forget the interview. Guess what, yesterday evening, we get a mail. A
mail confirming that they were ready for the interview today between 12
and 3pm. Last minute hurried arrangements made. All was set.
Today, called them again early morning to confirm, and again they
said yes. 11.30am, everyone is set before 12noon call time. Well we get a
call and they say, we are sorry, our artist cannot make it. He just
woke up. We are like well, we are set, he can still come.
After all the back and forth, we agreed that the interview be moved.
So I discharged my crew. Guess what, 4pm, we get a call again. Oh, sorry
for earlier, he actually can make it. My manager calls me, I’m like
huh?? How??? He persuades me to just do the interview.
I rally everyone on my team again. We agree to meet for 7pm. We get
to the location 6.30pm and again get another call from artist team. Oh!
We are sorry, he has not even had his bath, he cannot make it. So my
team is sitting here looking at me like wtf is this lady serious?
Burnaboy, I JUST WANT TO SAY TO YOU. YOUR END IS VERY NEAR. One day,
you will drop a song and nobody will give a f**k. And I’m not just
speaking about my show #KrystnEnemShow which you will one day beg to be
on, I am speaking about your attitude.
Burnaboy, Nothing lasts forever. Talent is not enough. Character is
man. Your personality stinks. Take a cue from those before you.
@burnaboy thank you for making us drive back and forth Ogba, Ajah,
Lekki, VI the whole of today. For making me look stupid.
Burnaboy, very Ill mannered and arrogant. Someday you will know that
pride goes before a fall. @burnaboy fvck you and your weed stinking
self. You probably think you can never fall, please ask your betters.
You ain’t even that good.
Burnaboy that’s not how to treat media people. You need the media to
be who you are. So if we ask for an interview, best say no I can’t.
@burnaboy you ain’t doing us no favour. You need the publicity, I need
the content, it’s 50/50, so stop acting like you the king.
Burnaboy I am disappointed in you and needless to say I have lost
every bit of respect I had for your music. Get over yourself boy.”

=>  Ruggedman Writes Open Letter To 9ice, Bloggers, Friends & Fans

The rapper and entrepreneur poured out his heart in an open letter he just released. Read below…
In 2010 9ice released a song that made a lot of people wrongfully drag me into a terrible situation. People who miscontrued the song and it created a rumour .
A terrible false rumour that was fueled by journalists and bloggers who were only after hits on their sites.Bloggers and journalists who did not care to investigate and confirm a rumour, but chose to print and post it anyways not caring who got hurt in the process.
I remember pleading my innocence and that of Toni Paynes but social media people being who and how they are, chose not to listen.
I remember calling 9ice on the phone CIA style to talk to him about it and he was clearly heard admitting the song was not about myself or Toni Payne, but social media people being who and how they are, chose not to listen.
I remember asking 9ice to publicly clear the air on the terrible rumour, but was shocked when my friend said he would not because he was busy and didn’t have time for such. Again nobody wondered why.
Fast forward 2016. six years later and I was surprised when i heard that 9ice has finally come out to say i never slept with his wife and the song was not about me and even apologised on top. That he has finally come out to say the truth about the issue that cast a negative shadow over my head and that of his ex wife for six years.READ FULL NEWS….

=> FG Recovers $14million From Jide Omokore’s Firm – Premium Times

Nigerian govt. recovers over $14million in unpaid oil royalty from Jide Omokore’s firm
February 3, 2016 Nicholas Ibekwe
The Nigerian government has succeeded in compelling the Chairman of Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Nigeria Limited, Jide Omokore to cough out over $14m, being crude oil royalty which his company failed to remit to the federal treasury, administration insiders have told PREMIUM TIMES.
High ranking federal officials familiar with the development told this newspaper that the funds were supposed to have been paid between 2011 and 2012 by Atlantic Energy which was, in controversial circumstances, awarded oil assets by the Goodluck Jonathan government shortly after it was incorporated in 2010.
Our sources said the money was finally paid into the Federal Government’s account with JP Morgan Chase on January 29, after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission waded into the matter of recovering taxes due to the Federal Government.
“The investigation of tax defaulters in the dollar-soaked oil industry is continuing,” a source at the EFCC said Wednesday. “Those who failed to willingly pay up stand the risk of arrest and prosecution for tax fraud.”

=> Crude Oil Price Rise After Russia Agrees To OPEC Talk-PMnews

Crude oil rose on Wednesday, paring earlier losses, after fresh comments from Russia about its openness to talk with OPEC over output cuts helped revive hope of higher prices.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said if there is consensus among the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and non-OPEC members to meet, “then we will meet”.
This helped push the price of oil, which had been set for a third day of declines after data on Tuesday showed another big build in United States inventories, off the day’s lows.
Brent for April delivery rose 40 cents to $33.12 a barrel, pulling away from a session low of $32.30.
US crude futures rose 46 cents to $30.34, off a session low of $29.40.
“Is there going to be a meeting between Russia and OPEC? That is a supportive factor in this rally that we’ve seen in the last one hour,” PVM Oil Associates analyst, Tamas Varga said.

=> Wizkid makes list of 12 innovative humans with coolest sounds

File photo of Afro Pop star Wizkid.

If 2015 was great for Wizkid 2016 promises to be better as early as February international recognition has started pouring in for the starboy singer.
US magazine FADER has just published a list of 12 innovative singers who have what they described as ‘the coolest’ sounds, and Nigeria’s star boy Wizkid made the fifth position.
Excerpts :
“The summer of 2015 was unusually full of collaborations between African stars and big-name U.S. rappers—the Ghanaian rapper Sakordie teamed up with Ace Hood, and the Nigerian Afro-pop singer Davido with Meek Mill—but no song has been as wide-reaching as “Ojuelegba.” Even before Drake came near it, six months after its initial release it was simmering toward anthem status across Africa. The original is arguably even better than the remix, which omits the Dr Dre “Nuthin’but a ‘G’Thang” sample—just one highlight of the production by Wizkid’s longtime collaborators Legendary Beatz. “I knew it was a good song,” Wizkid says, “but I didn’t expect it to blow up the way that it did.”
“Wizkid is already famous in his native Nigeria, but thanks to a couple clutch co-signs and Ojuelegba —his 2015-defining smash, named for a heaving Lagos suburb—he’s getting a global embrace,” the magazine said in its statement.”
