like alot of Entertainers are eyeing to be Governors, as some of them
have shared their Governorship campaign banner on social media.
Below is the list of Nigerian celebrities who have shown interest in the 2017 Governorship elections.

1. Yul Edochie

One
of Pete Edochie’s sons, Yul was the first to declare his intention to
run for Governor of Anambra State. Yul, an actor like his father, took
to his Twitter page to reveal his ambition and upload his campaign
poster.

2. Kcee

Kcee
is gunning for the Anambra state governor’s seat this year joining Yul
Edochie in the race. The singer shared a poster via Instagram yesterday,
August 3, 2017, declaring his intentions. He shared posters on
social
media that suggested he’ll contest to be the next governor of Anambra
State come November 2017.

3. Terry G

Terry
G joined the trend of wanting to contest for governor .Terry G is not
only running for governor,but as deputy governor of Benue state. He wrote: MY
PEOPLE,THE TIME IS NOW. POWER BELONGS TO THE YOUTHS,SAY NO TO OLD
CARGOS…VOTE TERRY G FOR GOVERNOR/DEPUTY OF BENUE STATE ,I WILL MAKE YOU

Vic
O also joined the trend of entertainers declaring their interest in
contesting for governorship positions in their various states. He says
he is going to contest For Cross River State 2017 Governorship Election.
5. Samklef

Samklef
also shared a photo of his poster on Instagram, announcing his
intention to run for Governor in Imo State. Samklef’s poster says Imo
2017, although there is no Governorship election in the state in 2017
fueling insinuation that it may just be for publicity.
