The reports were gathered due to leaks availed by top officials of the
20 teams that participated in the last season’s Nigerian Professional
League. We agree the reports are not from official sources and could
be different from what the players earn but the difference won’t
much.
It’s been noted that the arrival of the latest League
Management Company (LMC) chairman, Shehu Dikko has turned things around
in the system as there have been a continous flow of money into the
league, with players now earning as much as 800,000 Naira monthly
salaries.

Let’s take a view at the five highest paid NPFL players:

05. Ikechukwu Ezenwa – Ifeanyi Ubah FC (N600,000)

Ezenwa is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Ifeanyi
Ubah F.C. The 28-year old player earns N600,000 monthly.

04. Namso Edo – Akwa United (N700,000)

Namso Ede is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a defender for Akwa United. He bags N700,000 at the end of each month.
03. Chinedu Udoji – Kano Pillars (N800,000)

The former Enyimba captain joined Kano Pillars last November where he is earning N800,000 monthly.
02. Gambo Mohammed – Kano Pillars (N800,000)

Muhammad
Gambo, also known as Muhammed, is a footballer who plays for Kano
Pillars F.C. in the Nigeria Premier League and the Nigeria national
team. The centre-forward earns N800,000 per month.
01. Rabiu Ali – Kano Pillars (N800,000)
